Finance Assistant

This role would suit an experienced and reliable finance assistant, who has a flexible approach to work and a positive attitude.
**The Role**:
- Setting up and processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Processing payments through the bank
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Dealing with supplier queries/ Liaising with Suppliers
- Checking Supplier statements/ reconciliations
- Obtaining Invoice approval from Management
- Administration of the Purchase Order System
- Monitoring the purchase ledger inbox
- Ad
- hoc analysis as required by the Finance Manager
- Ensuring invoices are coded and input correctly.
- Provide assistance to Sales Ledger activities as and when required.
- Ensuring customer details are maintained and setting up supplier accounts
- Processing of Credit Card Statements
- Adhering to tight month end deadlines
- Credit Control
Team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong administration experience with excellent attention to detail.
Able to plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
**Essential Skills**:
Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
1 year finance / accounting administration experience.
Knowledge of financial terminology.
**Desired Skills but not Essential as Full Training will be provided**:
SAGE 50 Payroll
Schedule:
- To be agreed (flexible)
Rate of pay: Pro-Rata (based on 35 hour week full time)
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
