Groundworks and Construction Worker

Mermaid Leisure Ltd are looking for driven and hard-working individuals to join our team. An opportunity to work for one of the leading pool installers in the South-East. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful, bespoke, and top-quality luxury concrete swimming pools.

You will be an essential part of our core building team, dedicated to getting stuck in, creating dream pools within required timeframes, and bringing knowledge and skill to the sites. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, willing to learn and bring their knowledge to the role and committed to delivering top quality workmanship in all aspects of the building process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Liaising with the senior technical managers to ensure all work is planned and completed on time.

Assisting the site foreman with skilled on-site work such as precision groundwork, machine driving, casting concrete, laying coping stones, on-site lining etc.

General building work as required.

Ensuring all members of the team are working together and as efficiently as possible.

Ensuring all health and safety standards are always upheld on site.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience in groundworks OR pool building essential.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A valid UK driver's license is essential.

Ability to motivate the team and ensure the job is running on time.
