**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to health regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

**Skills**
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and wellbeing of customers.
- A helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: From £11.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
