**About the role**:
As a critical member of the strategy team, you will help shape the future of our company and the UK energy industry as a whole. Overall, we must deliver energy security while also helping the country reach net zero by 2050.

Key accountabilities:

- Create compelling strategies: Develop strategies that can be presented to the Exec and Board with clear storytelling and rationale backed up by data and insight.
- Strategic projects: Identify gaps and lead key high-value strategic projects/initiatives
- Support Head of Strategy and internal teams (Carbon capture, Hydrogen and Market Insights) to address key, pivotal questions.
- Executive Engagement: Collaborate with executives to secure their endorsement and support for strategic initiatives, addressing any concerns and ensuring buy-in at all levels.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration across teams and departments (both internal and external), ensuring clear communication and coordination. Build relationships and pull in expertise from across the business.

**About You**:

- **Experience in strategy consulting**
- Industry specific experience strongly preferred
- Analytical, problem solver and able to derive simplicity from complexity
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Able to effectively prioritise and juggle multiple work streams
- Self-starter with drive to get things done and move quickly
- Highly proficient in excel and powerpoint

**What we can offer**:

- Salary up to £70,000
- Annual bonus of 15% based on personal and company performance
