**Technical Advisor - Basement Structural Waterproofing & Damp Proofing Systems** Job Title: Technical Advisor - Basement Structural Waterproofing & Damp Proofing Systems Industry Sector: Basement Waterproofing, Structural Waterproofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproof Concrete Admixtures, Resin Injection, Concrete Remedial, Basement Pumps, Sheet Membranes, Damp Proofing, Concrete, Structural Drainage, Architects,Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Design and Build Contractors, House Builders Area to be covered: London & Southern East (Ideally based South of the river) Remuneration: £35,000-£45,000neg (depending on exp) + circa £5,000-£10,000 bonus Benefits: Fully expensed car & full comprehensive benefits package The role of the Technical Advisor - Structural Waterproofing & Damp Proofing Systems will involve: - Field technical sales position, selling a high quality manufactured range structural waterproofing and damp proofing systems such as: liquid applied systems, mortars, sealants, plasters, eternal waterproofing drainage systems, damp proofing products, basementtanking systems - Majority of your time will be focused on generating/discussing specifications with architects, civil engineers, concrete engineers / technologist and specialist contractors - Remainder of your time will be spent building relationships with design and build contractors, groundwork contractors, house builders and distributors - Working closely with internal commercial team who liaise with contractors and distributors - Typical projects within the commercial, education, prestigious projects and high end residential (working on mainly large commercial projects) - Will be required to work closely with technical managers and advisors to support on project supervision and QA - Reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications The ideal applicant will be a Technical Advisor - Structural Waterproofing / Damp Proofing Systems with: - Must have experience within the structural waterproofing market sector - Ideally "on the tools" looking to step into a more sales / technical advisor role - Must have experience installing or working closely with basement related products such as; structural waterproofing systems, liquid applied systems, mortars, sealants, plasters, eternal waterproofing drainage systems, damp proofing products, concrete remedial,concrete or resin injection systems - Sales experience not required, will consider people from a quantity surveyor, project management, installation, contactors or architectural background with knowledge of basement waterproofing systems - Ideally have on large scale site experience, installing waterproofing systems (type A, B, and C and ideally have resin injection experience) - Ideally hold a CSSW qualifications (not essential) - Ideally have a construction or engineering degree (not essential) - Highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised approach - A broad understanding of construction drawings and the sequence of a basement build - Knowledge of building construction techniques, waterproofing principles, British standards, architectural drawings is not essential as can be taught - Technical and structural specification backgrounds will be considered Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within Basement Waterproofing, StructuralWaterproofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproof Concrete Admixtures, Resin Injection, Concrete Remedial, Basement Pumps, Sheet Membranes, Damp Proofing, Concrete, Structural Drainage, Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Design and BuildContractors, House Builders
