Finance Assistant

A fantastic temporary Finance Assistant opportunity has arisen within a leading distribution company in Tyldesley. As the Finance Assistant you will calculate and produce accurate data in an efficient, organised and timely manner daily. You will have previous experience in an accounts role and understanding of processes and finance systems. Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm working a 37.5 hour week. Salary £10.42 per hour to 12.82 per hour dependant on experience.

**Finance Assistant Duties**:

- Checking and posting purchase invoices.
- Analysis of queries and dealing with any miscellaneous invoices.
- Processing cash book functions and reconciling.
- Month end reconciliation.
- Providing cover for other in the finance team.
- Assisting in the Processing of weekly/monthly payroll.
- Day to day administrative duties.

**Finance Assistant requirements**:

- Previous experience in an Accounts role, although applicants with some finance exposure will be considered.
- A good understanding of processes and finance systems.
- High attention to detail and numerate with an analytical skillset.
- Previous experience of payroll would be advantageous; however, training will be given.
- Required Sage, Excel proficient, Word and Outlook.
