**Job Title**:Specialist Weight Management Dietitian**
**Location**:Kent/Remote**
**Hours**:Full time and part time available**
**Reporting To**:Dietetic Lead**
**Key Relationships**:Clinical Lead, Contract Managers, Practitioners, Clinical Director**

**The Role**:
Responsible for overseeing the dietetic elements of our Tier 2 and 3 child and family weight management services.

**Key responsibilities: -**
- Actively lead the dietetic elements of the Tier 3 Child Weight Management Programmes, from Assessment to Discharge as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
- Carry out assessments and support to families with dietetic needs. This will include screening for ARFID and providing support to children with sub-clinical selective eating.
- Actively support service practitioners to work to our curriculums, evidence-based practice and to support service innovation.
- As part of the Multi-Disciplinary team support selected children and families that required specific dietetic support.
- Ensure that our approach is tailored to meet the needs of all individuals, particularly those from groups at risk of health inequalities from example those from BAME communities and those with learning disabilities
- Attend service meetings as appropriate plus meetings with other relevant parties when required
- Working closely with clinical colleagues to support training and development for all delivery staff
- Undertake quality visits across programmes to ensure that MoreLife standards are being adhered to
- Provide support, supervision and training to practitioners working directly with clients as needed
- Attend management and clinical management meetings and ensure that the service is delivering safe and high quality care
