**The Service**: Located in Bacup, Pine House is a 20 bed community facing purpose built hospital for men aged 18 years and above with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or acquired brain injury. The service will provide an holistic approach to recovery from mental illness whilst maximising potential and promoting independence.
Our Hospital aims to be a centre of excellence providing high quality, holistic, person-centred rehabilitative care and specialised treatment for men with complex mental health needs and/or challenging behaviour. Our goal is for each of the women in our care to achieve meaningful and sustainable positive change in their lives and to gain greater independence, long-term mental wellbeing and successful reintegration into their community.
**Job Summary**
To provide high quality and effective administrative support to the Hospital Manager and SMT across a range of duties as directed within agreed processes and time scales.
The post holder will be the coordinating contact for clinical engagement with our primary care providers and provide cover across services where required.
You will be supported in your new role as an administrator with training from experienced administrators from our sister hospitals to get you up to speed and support you along your journey as PA / Administrator - Healthcare.

- Ability to demonstrate appropriate operational experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Be well organised and efficient in your duties
- Experience of working with other teams and building relationships at all levels.
- Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without close supervision, manage own performance and task delivery
- Able to work collaboratively across teams and respond flexibly to the hospitals demands and priorities.
- Excellent IT skills in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience of using management information systems, collating and presenting information
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Contribute to a high-performance culture, taking personal responsibility for achieving individual targets, supporting the wider SMT and Hospital Manager in relation to quality and compliance management on a local and regional basis.
- Take the lead with managing and developing the quality action plan function - ensuring and managing the evidence of activity across all areas of qualify and providing relevant reports to support this.
- Provide administrative support including issuing reports and correspondence; supporting collation of relevant information for briefings queries or meetings; supporting joint activity with external organisations, minute meetings, staff rota's, Payroll.
- Provide direct support for SMT and hospital and regional meetings, including arranging dates and venues, preparation of materials and recording actions and decisions. Occasional travel may be required.
- Understand how your role contributes to the wider goals of the hospital and regional governance body of the organisation and commit to this.
- Support the organising the Hospital Managers and SMT with diary and meeting management, including booking meetings, interviews and staff supervision sessions.
- Support the HR process to ensure compliance & Recruitment organise training.
- Develop and maintain accurate records within data integrity and provide support for reporting requirements not currently met by IT system solutions.
- Manage key internal and external relationships effectively.
- Undertake all mandatory and other identified training to support own development.
