**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team on Nights. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, personal care, mobilising and ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their independence. Strong communication skills and a caring attitude are vital for success in this position.
However, we are looking for female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the personal care needs of our service users and the requirement to have at least one female carer on shift to meet these needs.
**Duties**
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Implementing care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Documenting daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately using IT systems.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
- A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them diligently.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and record keeping.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60 per hour
