The Royal and Fortescue Hotel is a popular business in the centre of Barnstaple. As part of Brend Hotels the site is renowned for high standards and exceptional service.

We are looking for hard-working reliable kitchen porters to join our team. The position is full time and shifts vary but will include weekends.

MAIN DUTIES

Clean the floors and walls regularly and efficiently. Adhering to cleaning schedule.

Wash and dry crockery, cutlery and trays.

Clean sinks, food mixers, fridges, freezers, pots and pans, grills, fryer, stoves, extractor hood and worktops.

Also ensure machines are in good working order.

To take delivery of some foods and store correctly.

To dispose of waste food correctly.

Use chemicals safely and as trained.

Maintain personal hygiene and wear correct uniform.

Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire regulations and legal requirements and perform any other tasks required from time to time.
