My prestigious financial services client expanding their architectural team in Edinburgh with a Solutions Architect.

You will join the team to work with business architects and business analysts to provide a functional and technical viewpoint of the system architecture. You will also provide your expertise to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Design innovative solutions for the new features that will be planned for the release
- Collaborate with SMEs from Cloud, Integration, Data, Security and Digital to bring in an end-to-end solution architecture for business requirements
- Assess the systems architecture that is currently in place and propose improvements
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques

**The skillset required is as follows**:

- 3 years’ experience in architecting and designing large scale distributed systems.
- Object Oriented Design principles and frameworks
- Experience in microservices and API based software solutions
- Knowledge of Cloud and digital technologies
- An understanding of software architecture patterns
