We are currently recruiting for a talented National Workplace & Facilities Manager (WFM) to join our first class, Workplace & Facilities department, in Liverpool. The purpose of the role is to provide effective management of our physical environment and services integrating the organisations support structure to deliver services to staff and customers at best value whilst enhancing organisational performance. Therole is multi-disciplined in Workplace & Facilities Management.

**Responsibilities to include**:

- Management of all Workplace & Facilities functions.
- Responsible for managing, developing and motivating other members of staff, assisting them to carry out their responsibilities in line with best practice.
- Workplace Consultancy & Project management.
- Manage hard and soft services across the various locations.
- To be responsible for the front of house and to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place and that visitor management is handled professionally.
- Responsible for implementation and management of annual budget.
- Tendering, negotiating and managing contracts for suppliers and to make recommendation for service and cost improvement.
- Responsibility for the management and improvement of the office environmental commitments.
- Work with our internal and external H&S advisors to comply with S+G H&S policy, carrying out risk assessments as required.
- Planning and implementation of refurbishment, building works and space planning at office locations.
- Ongoing Project management
- Facilitate all office moves, including consultation with stakeholders, space planning and floor design, co-ordinate activities with third party suppliers and internal IT to ensure that the move goes to plan and is within budget.
- Responsible for drafting and implementing facilities related procedures and policies within the wider business.
- Management of the Business continuity forum and implementation of the plan

**About You**:

- A Diploma or other equivalent qualifications and/or experience 5 years+ management experience within Workplace & Facilities Management would be beneficial.
- NEBOSH General Certificate, with experience of managing health and safety.
- Member of the Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management (MIWFM) to evidence competency - Level 4 to 5 or equivalent
- Experience of managing budgets
- AutoCAD & workplace planning skills with a sound knowledge of the Workplace & Building Regulations, particularly Fire (AD Part B) & Accessibility (AD Part M).
- Experience of working to ISO accreditations would be beneficial.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage a broad portfolio of activities.
- Risk management capabilities and knowledge of quality management systems eg Data, Environmental, Health & Safety and Business Continuity (Risk).
- High level of personal resilience, with a positive can-do attitude and customer service focus.
- Pro-active approach to performance improvement and organisational change.
- Project management experience of significant corporate projects and dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Management of workplace change communications
- High level of motivation and initiative with the ability to motivate and manage large teams.
