**Role Overview and Responsibilities**:
**Introduction**
- We require a Supply Chain Lead to join our team in Abercynon, South Wales. This role will be reporting to the Site Director and be responsible for driving strategic plan for supply chain, along with the day to day management of the purchasing, planning and movement of goods departments.

**Key Responsibilities - Strategic Planning & Supply Chain Optimisation**
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to align with business objectives, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain planning, balancing demand with production and optimising inventory levels
- Lead accountability for inventory planning and delivery of plan.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and reduce lead times.

**Key Responsibilities - Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)**
- Oversee the SIOP process to align demand with production capacity, inventory management, and procurement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations to ensure optimal supply-demand balance.
- Analyse market trends, customer demand, and supply constraints to drive data-driven decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities - Master Scheduling & Production Planning**
- Develop and maintain a robust master production schedule that optimizes capacity, labour, and materials.
- Co-ordinate with Operations to develop and supply and capacity scenarios.
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure smooth production flow while minimizing bottlenecks.
- Monitor schedule adherence and adjust productions plans proactively in response to demand and supply chain fluctuations.

**Key Responsibilities - Inventory and Stores**
- Oversee inventory policies, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production needs while minimizing excess.
- Implement best practices for warehouse and material handling to improve accuracy, efficiency, and traceability.
- Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and process improvements.

**Key Responsibilities - Supplier and Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely material availability and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Work closely with procurement teams to enhance supplier performance, cost savings, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure alignment between supply chain, engineering, and quality teams for component lifecycle management.

- Ensure adherence to company codes of conduct, timekeeping and disciplines.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPI’s) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), inventory turns and schedule adherence.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards and company policies.
- Lead and mentor supply chain teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence.
- Work with the global group teams in support of TT Company strategies and initiatives into the site.
