As a rake hand Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, managing team members, and ensuring that project specifications and timelines are met. Your leadership will be critical in coordinating activities such as site preparation, equipment operation, and quality control, while also maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

As a Rake Hand, Your attention to detail and physical stamina will contribute to the successful completion of each project. You will also assist in the operation of machinery, perform routine maintenance checks, and support other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the surfacing crew.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Operate rakes and other tools to ensure even asphalt distribution.
- Provide training and support to team members to develop skills and promote efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in asphalt paving, surfacing, or related construction work.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and the capability to work in various weather conditions.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Work Location: In person
