**About the role**:
Job Coaches at Activate Learning support students of all abilities, coaching them towards permanent sustained employment.

You'll be helping learners with SEND on our employability programmes develop essential skills that they'll need to equip them for the workplace, and assessing and monitoring their progress as you work with them within our Learning Companies.

Our Learning Companies perform functions within our colleges, including cafeterias, reprographics and mail, giving our learners the chance to develop their employability skills through practice. Supported by the course leader, you'll work across our Learning Companies to ensure their ensure their smooth day to day running and support our students.

This is a permanent, full-time, position, working 35 hours per week during term time (0.8 FTE) at our Guildford College campus.

**What do you need to be a successful job coach at Activate Learning?**

You will have significant experience of working with young people with SEND in a teaching or training environment and be able to break down and simplify job roles and to give clear and explicit instructions.

With excellent communications skills, you will also be able to build positive networks and relationships with others. Experience of working in an FE environment is desirable, but not required.
