Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Stock Controller. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory is properly stocked and readily available for our customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received goods
- Sort, label, and stock items on shelves or designated storage areas
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with data mining for inventory analysis
- Assist in the implementation of efficient business processes related to stock management
- Conduct root cause analysis for any stock discrepancies or issues
- Operate a forklift or other equipment to move and organize stock (not essential)

**Requirements**:

- A levels or equivalent ideal but not essential
- Previous experience in stock management or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Proficient in using inventory management software and systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
