**HGV Technician**

**Full-time, Permanent**

**£15.10 P/H**

**Minimum of 40 hours per week**

Bulkhaul Limited provide a global service for the distribution of bulk liquids and powders and has representation in over 100 countries worldwide. The operation is controlled from our corporate headquarters in Middlesbrough, supported by Bulkhaul officesstrategically located in United States, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Brazil, Belgium and Germany.

**Principal duties


- Safety inspections
- Servicing and Repair on our expanding fleet of Vehicles and Trailers.
- Diagnostics on Vehicles and Trailers
- Thorough MOT preparations
- Roadside Repairs
- Road Test Vehicles
- Work shifts (6.00-14.00 and 13.00-21.00) including paid break

**Core Skills/Attributes**
- Ability to work under pressure
- Meet deadlines
- Experience with diagnostic equipment.
- Good knowledge and understanding of MOT requirements and regulations.
- Be able to adapt to repair and service specialist equipment across the fleet
- Work safely and efficiently as a team to minimise vehicle downtime

**Desired experience**
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Class 1 HGV Licence (desired but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems and light fabrication

**Additional Benefits/Information**
- Minimum of 40 hours per week,
- Monday to Friday with some overtime when required.
- Hourly rate is £15.10
- 20 days holiday per annum plus all statutory bank holidays paid at a higher rate.
- Weekend rolling rota call out retainer of £30 per weekend plus 5 hours minimum pay.
