We have a passion for people and are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and energetic Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Rotherham. This is a hybrid role consisting of remote working and working from our Rotherham Head Office. You will be assertiveyet tactful and have good negotiation skills. You’ll also be organised and methodical and have strong Microsoft Excel skills.

The role:
- You will be responsible for managing your own ledger, dealing with a large number of live accounts, which range from large national to SME clients
- Support the team with reconciliation of payments ensuring these are done accurately
- Responsible for credit checking existing and potential clients, monitor credit limits and controlling credit risk
- Create new customer accounts
- Assist in the reconciliation of client accounts and therefore **a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential**.
- Assist with other duties within the team when required
- To be considered for this position you will ideally have a minimum of two years Credit Control experience, have a desire to work as part of a successful team in a supportive but challenging working environment
- You must possess an analytical mind and can identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently, demonstrate excellent communication skills showing high standards of customer service throughout and be able to influence others to ensure a positive outcome
- Have the ability to learn quickly
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in using Credit Control financial systems is desirable for this role as is a good working knowledge of Excel and Word
