Join Our Team as a Senior Therapeutic Childcare Support Worker

**Position**: Senior Therapeutic Childcare Support Worker
**Salary**: £31,023 - £34,000 (DOE)
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Providing high-quality therapeutic care and support to children and young people with various challenges.
- Implementing and adhering to individual care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor, promoting personal development and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for every individual.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:
- Must have Level 3 in Residential in Children and Young People or equivalent. Experience leading a team shift for 12 months.
- Working with Children/Young people in a residential setting for at least 2 years.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
- DOLS experience
- Positive behaviour management training/understanding.
- Knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
- Be confident and resilient
- Computer literacy.
- A driving licence.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £31,023.00-£34,000.00 per year
