**A typical day**
- Under the direction of the Data Management Team coordinate ongoing data maintenance within university systems ensuring the data quality is fit for purpose and accurately reflects the University’s reporting requirements
- Drive enhancements to systems and databases focused on the improved utility to internal customers, while paying attention to the University’s statutory reporting requirements
- Champion the improvement of data quality through implementing innovative solutions and processes to reduce manual involvement and ultimately reduce human error
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data through robust quality checking, risk assessments and regular data cleansing in accordance with the aforementioned notices, agreements and schedules
- Responsible for ensuring data practises follow BSU internal policies, GDPR, and legal requirements
- As part of a matrix team, manage the service requests processes as part of a rota, including the shared inbox and CRM ticketing system
- Produce reports and statistical information to colleagues across the organisation
- Build an institutional competence in data entry and quality control, proactively increase knowledge and understanding to colleagues

**You must have**
- GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent

**Future prospect**

After your Digital Business Accelerator apprenticeship, you can progress into further qualifications such as Level 4 Project Management, Software Engineering and Digital Marketing.
