The GOSH Learning Academy (GLA) is the vehicle for the strategic and operational delivery of the education and training strategy for Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The aim: _to be the first choice for multi-professional paediatric healthcare education, training, and development for the whole workforce, utilising state-of-the-art technology in contemporary learning environments. _
Reporting directly to the Director of Education this is a senior role within the Learning Academy, providing the leadership required to deliver against the _GLA Charity Grants Case _. A key component of this role will be ensuring the GLA remains sustainable beyond the end of the GOSH Charity Grant.
The GLA brings together the clinical, central and corporate education and training services across GOSH; this role is a key link between all of our education teams and partners including, Nursing and Non-medical Education, Postgraduate Medical Education, Organisational & Employee Development, the Clinical Simulation Centre, Resuscitation Training Services and our established partnerships with partners outside the organisation.
