**Project/Sales Estimator**

Salary circa £30,000 to £37,000 depending on Experience and Qualifications + benefits

Full time - flexibility considered

Ductec are a family run business based in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, looking to grow their work family and need an experienced Project Estimator to work with their Contracts Director.

As a company they are proud of what they do and their staff, they strive to make sure that everyone who works with them from employees to customers to suppliers are looked after and feel valued.

Mainly office based with some occasional site visits, you will work closely with their Contracts Director and Contract Engineer to provide assistance in securing new contracts by producing sales quotations.

**Main duties**
- Produce and create detailed quotations for Dust and Fume Extraction Systems, ducting and associated parts from information supplied by customer
- Liaise with Contracts team and Produce drawings using 3D Autocad
- Communicating with customers to answer questions and convert quotes into sales
- Processing of orders for contracts
- Project work with contracts department
- Attendance on site and client meetings when required
- Research & development of new technologies and processes
- To undertake any additional duties as per the business needs

**Essential Qualities**:

- Engineering qualification (HNC or HND in mechanical engineering or Engineering/Technical background)
- Confident & competent with 2D & 3D AUTOCAD
- Ability to read & alter engineering drawings
- Good communication skills over the phone, e mails and in person
- Being able to work as part of a team & individually
- Punctual & reliable
- Full UK driver’s license

**Desirable Qualities**:

- Experience working with or knowledge of dust and fume extraction (LEV)
- 3 years’ experience after qualification within a similar setting
