Additionally, you will manage MCERTS-related capital maintenance and operational expenses, serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders, and build positive relationships with regulatory bodies and other industry players. You will also lead the delivery of external audit requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance and enhancing the profile of accurate flow measurement across the business.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Ensuring MCERTS is embedded into business as usual across the company;
- Own and manage the MCERTS budgets to ensure that the financial expenditure is appropriately used and cost-effective to the business delivering the best TOTEX solution.
- Act as a Company expert and single point for internal /external stakeholders and regulators (EA, WaSCs and MCERTS industry groups) to ensure positive relationships and correct profile of flow related issues.
- Provide high level contract management of suppliers to ensure our requirements are being met but also improved on.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of flow measurement and compliance, particularly in relation to MCERTS regulations. You will be solely accountable for ensuring compliance across all water and wastewater sites, with significant autonomy to create and implement strategies that meet both regulatory and business requirements.

As the company’s chief expert in this area, you will be responsible for fostering positive and constructive relationships with regulatory bodies while also enhancing the internal profile of flow-related issues, which are currently challenging. This role requires you to lead collaboration across multiple teams and contractors, developing tailored plans to achieve and maintain compliance.
