Our plastics reprocessing facility in Avonmouth, Bristol will reprocess over 80,000 tonnes of plastic every year - more than 1.6 billion bottles, tubs, and trays - creating recycled raw material to return to the economy. Plastic recycling at the facility will save 126,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, the equivalent of taking over 67,000 cars off the road

We have an opportunity in Avonmouth for a General Operative to join our team working 38.5 hours per week over 2 days and 2 nights followed by 4 off.

The salary for this role will be £26,337.00 per year, plus shift allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

As a General Operative, you will experience real variety and the opportunity to be involved in different areas of the Polymers Plant. Duties will include:

- Receiving, offloading and stacking plastic bales.
- Receiving and loading Silo Tankers
- Loading bales into plant machinery
- Loading finished goods onto vehicles.
- Working inside the Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and loading finished goods into bags and booking
- Moving and emptying bins from the MRF
- Using computer systems to dispatch loads
- Carrying out cleaning, basic maintenance tasks and basic fault finding
