**Position Summary**:
Job title: Warehouse Team Member Shunter

Reports to: Shift Operations Manager

**Salary**: £31,741.20 per annum inclusive of shift premium

Working Hours: 2-3-2 continental shift pattern across days and nights

**Responsibilities**:
You will work in both the yard and the warehouse as part of a team on a specified shift. Adhering to safe working practices in a busy logistics yard and liaising with shift warehouse Co-ordinator to ensure smooth and timely loading / unloading of finished goods and raw materials trailers. You may also be required to work in other areas and on different shifts.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - YARD**
- Full pre use inspection (PUI) of shunt motors, including reporting and arranging defect repairs to Terberg.
- Full trailer check status of finished goods, raw materials, empty trailers, WIP, holds, damaged trailers. Report any trailer defects to NRDC to resolve.
- Liaise with factory despatch teams / inventory control / warehouse teams / site security / regional distribution centres for movement of trailers on / off bays (finished goods and raw materials)
- Liaise with external drivers, managing safety, movements and timing.
- Communicate with warehouse co-ordinator ref Due Ins report to plan receipt of all bulk deliveries including safety, quality assurance checks, safe and timely unloading into silos, book certificate of analysis (COA) details onto PQIS system. Book all bulk deliveries onto SAP and match off correct purchase orders.
- Liaising with potato intake to depart / dock potato trailers as and when required according to production demands.
- Liaising with potato intake to remove / replenish process waste / white starch trailers when required according to production demands.
- Liaising with pallet suppliers (Clarks) to ensure site replenishment of empty pallet trailers.
- Managing and directing fuel deliveries to site.
- Hand over meeting with the oncoming shunter to highlight any watchouts or follow ups required.
- Near Miss and accident investigations following any incidents on site regarding transport.
- Manage / liaise with canteen manager regarding replenishment of site staff shop.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - WAREHOUSE**
- Load / unload trailers into warehouse - Lineside orders / card / film / seasoning / bulk rice / bulk sugar / bulk starch / bulk IBC’s
- Stock controlled receipt and storage of raw materials into warehouse racking and designated storage locations via FLT / Aislemaster BENDI trucks.
- Housekeeping duties to ensure that Health, Safety and Hygiene standards are met.
- As required to undertake factory stock counts and reconciliation.
- Operate in accordance with the site environmental management system.
- Support ESAT
