Warehouse Worker

**PLEASE NOTE, WEEKENDS REQUIRED**

Two roles available;
- Role 1; Fri-Tue 8.5hrs per day (except Sunday which will be 4 hours) = 38hrs per week. **Must have a driver's license and be willing to drive if needed.**:

- Role 2; Mon-Thurs & Saturday, 8.5hrs per day = 42.5 hours per week. **Must have a driver's license and be willing to drive if needed.**

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and expanding team in this hybrid role. You would join both our Warehouse and Logistics team, working between the two as needed. You will play a vital role receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping and stocking goods in clients' offices.

**Driving**:

- Maintain safe and effective multi drop deliveries
- To drive in a safe and lawful manner
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
- Re-stocking clients offices including fridges and shelves to the highest standard

**Warehouse**:

- Receive incoming orders and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes
- Inspect and report any damages or discrepancies to the warehouse manager
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Unloading delivered stock by hand or with the assistance of a forklift
- Organize and store goods in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labelling, accessibility, and FIFO
- Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring items are appropriately packaged for safe transportation
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting the warehouse manager with placing orders from vendors
- May be required to go and buy or collect items from local shops
- To ensure stock arriving at warehouse is accepted, signed for, and entered stock control system in a timely manner.
- To report breakages and or missing items as soon as possible from any delivery.
- To put away stock in a timely and safe manner ensuring office spaces are left clean and tidy.

**PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items of varying weights.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points
- Excellent driving skills
- Good appreciation of health & safety
- Experience delivery driving is desirable
- Dedication and flexibility as company needs can fluctuate
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Able to work efficiently on your own and as part of the team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Forklift trained - desirable
- Experience caring for and driving chilled vehicles is a bonus but not essential

Pay: £13.15-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
