**Warehouse Operative - Night shift**:

- Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
- My client is a Global Fleet Engineering Company, one of the biggest in the UK and the World, suppling specialist automotive vehicles and machinery to 80 different countries.
The purpose of this role as a Warehouse Operative is to maintain the “Goods In” and “Goods Out” process. Including dealing with all goods and products that come into the warehouse, receiving and storing goods correctly, picking and packing goods for customers and external engineers, inputting computer data for our daily collections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading of goods and supplies.
- Check for damage or missing items.
- Store goods appropriately.
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
- Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system.
- Carry out stock counts as and when required.
- Pick and pack deliveries correctly for customers and external engineers.
- Ensure all goods are shipped damaged free to the correct destination.
- Keep paperwork up to date.
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.

**Skills Required**:

- Communications skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Experience work in a fast paced Warehouse environment.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent organisation and prioritising skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to utilise stock management systems.
- High attention to details.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- Team player.
- Good time-management skills.
- Knowledge of stock control management including FIFO.
- Forklift Operation Licence to include: FLT Side Loader, FLT Counterbalance, FLT Combi Truck, Pallet Stacker.

**What's on offer**:

- Salary up to £27,300
- Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee
- 25 days holiday (plus statutory)
- Death in service 3x annual salary,
- Company sick pay scheme on passing 6 months probationary.
- Hours: 7pm - 7am Monday to Thursday. 48 hour week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£27,300.00 per hour
