To ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of product to customers in a timely manner. Also, to handle the unloading and loading of vehicles with an FLT, chase suppliers when necessary, and liaise with external 3rd parties on customer deliveries.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES**:

- Unloading vehicles by FLT.
- Handle the safe and correct packing of goods
- Maintain stock control, reporting to operations team and communicating stock levels to ensure efficient customer service.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Order picking.
- Liaising with couriers and MBP transport on customer deliveries.
- Check documentation and ensure stock is recorded correctly on computerised stock control system
- Maintain a tidy, working warehouse to ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Ensure customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently. Banding, wrapping and securing pallets.
- Undertake periodic stock counts
- .and any other duties required to support the achievement of the Company’s objectives_

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 5 GCSE Grade C or above including Maths and English
- Previous experience is desirable
- FLT licence is preferable
- Working knowledge of MF Office packages

**ADDITIONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Good numeracy skills, and capable of interpreting a range of data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritise workload to meet ever changing departmental and organisational deadlines

**Salary**: £10.42-£12.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
