**Team Leader - Job Description**

**Key Purpose of the role**:
The Team Leader is a vital role within our store, leading each shift by example - They make that critical first and last impression on our customers. The main purpose of the role is to create a welcoming atmosphere along with excellent service and standards for all of our customers, whilst ensuring our colleagues are kept busy.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Display exceptional standards and service along with enthusiasm and professionalism to ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Display strong product knowledge and suggestive selling to always improve the customer experience.
- Responsible for all cash and payment transactions.
- Supporting the management team in ensuring the store is fully replenished in line with planograms. Cleaning schedules completed, audit standards and brand standards are always met.
- Effective and professional handling of any customer complaint, informing the manager immediately.
- Ensure that you comply with legislation regarding Security, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene and Licensing laws.
- Work at a good pace
- Informing the management of any stock or equipment issues.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and training sessions.
- Know and exceed sales targets.
- Open and close the store as a key holder
- Effective communication skills with both in store management and external managers
- Self motivation and drive to ensure the task is completed in a timely manner

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour

- Poole, BH14 9HY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
