**Waiter / Waitress**

Turkuaz is a new Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Winchester dedicated to providing authentic cuisine and good vibes. We are proud to be located in one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Winchester.

We are looking for a team of enthusiastic Waiters and Waitresses to be the face of our restaurant, helping to bring our guests the very best Turkuaz has to offer. This exciting opportunity comes as we get ready for our Grand opening. You must be able to start early August in order for training to take place.

- You are confident with great people facing and customer service skills
- Welcoming and friendly - creating an environment where customers have an enjoyable visit
- Self motivated - always keen to turn up and do your best
- Passionate about the hospitality industry - you enjoying learning new skills and discovering cuisine from different cultures
- Great in a team - able to communicate and work well with colleagues
- No previous experience is required

Responsibilities include:

- Greeting customers and taking orders
- To notify the kitchen of any allergies or dietary needs
- Delivering food and drinks to tables
- Ensuring our customers are served promptly and in a friendly manner
- Controlling the flow of the restaurant
- Ensuring a smooth and swift dining experience for all guests
- Communicating with the kitchen and restaurant management
- Ensuring accuracy of orders and handling any special requests
- Checking on customers during their meal to ensure they are satisfied
- Clearing tables and cleaning up after customers
- Handling cash and credit card transactions
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Dressing tables
- Other duties as assigned by manager or owner of the business

Pay: From £9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
