Our **Kitchen Porters** are vital to our catering operation and ensure our busy food outlets run smoothly.

To carry out a range of cleaning duties in accordance with work schedules as instructed by the Senior Chef

To maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, ancillary and outside areas as detailed.

Maintain cleanliness and correct storage of cleaning equipment.

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment as directed in the cleaning schedule.

To report equipment defects to the Head Chef.

To maintain high standards of operational and personal hygiene.

**A few things about you**

Experience working in a similar industry (i.e., food service, catering, or hospitality) would be ideal, but general knowledge of food preparation with understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning will tick the box

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this.

Site security clearance is required for this role.

**Package Description**:
**37.5 hours per week**
**£9.18- £9.50 per hour**
**Monday-Friday, between 8am and 8pm, 1 Sunday in 4, working from 2pm to 8pm**
**Full protective uniform supplied**
