Gresham Hunt are partnered with a prestigious global financial institution headquartered in London and New York. They have a fantastic new opening for someone to join the next wave of hires into their expanding Manchester city centre office.

This is an entry level opportunity within Operations and will suit someone looking to move into the financial services sector. You will be trained from scratch to develop the skills needed for this vital function. A finance related degree would be advantageousbut not essential. They are happy to consider someone without a formal qualification, if they have prior experience working in a fast paced environment where they were required to solve problems.

Being part of Operations means you will see the inner workings of the business. You will focus on creating the most efficient operating environment for the analytical teams, by bringing consistency and to all aspects of the process. You will build contactsglobally which will allow you to benefit from rapid career development.

The team report into the Chief Operating Officer, so the role will suit someone who is excited by the prospect of working side by side with senior level executives.

The role offers flexible working and will be based in the office 3 days a week with 2 days working from home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of call for analysts with system-related questions and problems
- Identify problems and suggest solutions
- Build relationships with senior level stakeholders globally
- Take ownership of problems and escorting system users through the workflow

**Requirements**:

- The ability to keep calm under pressure and work around obstacles
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Evidence of prior experience working in a faced paced environment (any sector)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- Keen interest in learning about financial
