Café Barista

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately while providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is required to maintain health standards.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers positively.
- A willingness to help others, both customers and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
