This is an exciting opportunity for an associate or senior associate with specialist IT experience to develop their career and personal profile within an expanding tech practice globally. This is a leading outsourcing team. The work is very strategic with highfees and is an incredibly exciting mix of commercial and Fin Tech work acting for buyers looking to embrace transition into a Tech company. This is part of a stand alone Tech practice within the firm rather than operating predominantly as a support team forthe corporate side of the business.
The team is down to earth and pragmatic, friendly and very supportive - they are looking for someone with a real hunger and ambition to work on exceptionally exciting work as part of a close knit team.
You will be able to progress your career working on market leading strategic transactions for household name clients such as Tesco, NIKE, BT, Royal Mail, Enterprise Rental Cars, Estee Lauder, LVMH and DXC Technology. You will also learn or enhance your supply-side(i.e. acting for suppliers) lawyering skills and lead complex transactions or take significant responsibility for all or substantial parts of them.
Purpose of job
This firm have a truly global, market leading practice group that provides an integrated, strategic solution for technology and commercial transactions as well as data privacy and security, franchising, emerging growth companies. They have unrivalled expertisein the related areas of public policy and government affairs in the US. They work across a range of sectors and with colleagues in the US, France, Germany and Russia.
Your main role will be to advise on strategic technology, outsourcing and commercial transactions, often cross-border in nature.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Ideally 2+pqe
- Good exposure to complex outsourcing transactions
- Experience of advising blue chip clients
- Financial services sector experience, EBA and, if relevant, payments services and equivalent exposure important
