Cherry Professional?are excited to be partnering with a construction engineering business based in **Staffordshire**, who are looking for a **Qualified Financial Controller **to join themon a permanent basis. They are a UK leading provider and a growing business that has a positive impact on people’s lives.
- What you’ll do _
- Act as the finance lead and business partner to the internal division.
- Coordinate the preparation of management accounts of the division to a high standard and to an agreed timetable.
- Assistance with group budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Manage and report debt and debt collection and ageing performance in coordination with central finance.
- Monitor the physical and financial performance of major contracts.
- Evaluate investment and acquisition opportunities as required.
- Provide financial and analytical support to all key stake holders including Divisional Directors and Business managers.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Ensure robust and reliable cost control measures are in place and operating effectively.
- What you’ll need _
- Good Excel skills
- Qualified CIMA or ACCA or ACA accountant
- Manufacturing or Engineering experience
- Experience of working as a Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner
