Due to an increase in our workload we are looking for a Warehouse Operative who has a current reach and/or counter balance forklift licence.

Job summary

Unloading delivery vehicles of stock items. Identifying supplier paperwork, locating stock as per SOP. Picking and packing orders for dispatch to customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Checking goods received against delivery notes for correct goods and quantities.
- Put goods away in correct locations.
- Cleanliness of yard and warehouse, including gangways, litter removal.
- Loading/unloading of all vehicles.
- Accurate and prompt picking and packing and despatch of goods.
- Other general duties to maintain efficient working of yard and warehouse.
- You will be required to assist with yearly stocktake, which may cover a weekend. [Overtime will be paid]
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required within reasonable request.
- Adhere to all company health and safety polices to ensure a safe working conditions and practices within the yard and warehouse areas.

Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.

Forklift licence essential.

40 hours per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
