**The Role**

As a Team Leader you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Manchester branch. You’ll lead by example, motivating a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.

This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement, as you’ll also engage directly with customers, providing expert advice and assisting with sales. There is a strong focus on upselling and ensuring that customers are presented with the best solutions for their needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Leadership**: Manage and inspire a team of sales associates, ensuring they remain motivated and productive.
- **Sales Performance**: Drive sales by setting and monitoring individual and team targets, and support team members in achieving their goals.
- **Customer Engagement**: Assist customers directly by providing tailored advice and product recommendations.
- **Upselling Opportunities**: Identify and capitalise on opportunities to upsell additional products or services that align with customer needs.
- **Training and Development**: Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their sales techniques and product knowledge.
- **Operational Oversight**: Ensure the branch operates smoothly by overseeing scheduling, stock management, and reporting.
- **Customer Resolution**: Handle escalated customer queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- **Reporting**: Analyse sales data and provide regular reports to senior management on team performance and branch operations.

- Proven experience in a leadership role within a sales or customer service environment.
- A strong background in meeting and exceeding sales targets, with the ability to motivate others to do the same.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and build strong relationships.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to business needs.

Pay: From £31,748.00 per year
