**Finance Manager**

**Cheltenham**

**£35,000-£45,000**

We are very excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join an independent charitable trust who play a vital role in our local community. They are in search of an experienced Finance Manager who will confidently manage the finance operation and lead adynamic finance team.

Our client is a lead provider of cultural and leisure services and aims to positively contribute to the local economy. The Finance Manager will be responsible for aiding the Head of Finance in helping drive consistent improvements to financial controls anddeliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

To be considered for this role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant and demonstrate good commercial awareness and strong analytical skills. In return you will be able to see the positive impact your work has on the local community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the day-to-day finance operations and co-ordinate the finance team
- Maintain appropriate financial control and accounting procedures across a range of venues
- Develop relevant policies, procedures, guidance, and training for budget managers
- Aim to improve the efficiency and robustness of the overall financial function through recommending system and process improvements
- Ensure compliance is met by the finance team with relevant legislation and guidelines

**Skills/ Experience**:

- Considerable experience working in a senior financial position
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with and integrating finance systems
- Experience working within a charitable organisation would be beneficial
