**Electrical Maintenance Engineer**

**Weston-Super-Mare**

**Up to £38,000**

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. Youwill be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcomingteam of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**Role Description**
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working as part of a team throughout the site.
- Responsible for the associated administration of your work as well as the H&S of yourself and your co-workers (wearing PPE at all times).
- Responsible for managing the completion of ongoing PPMs in addition to any emergency or unforeseen breakdowns.
- Planning, installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities (minimise lost time due to breakdown).
- Demonstrate a flexible, creative approach to problems and troubleshooting.
- Driving positive continuous improvement.
- Thoroughly and accurately carry out daily checks on essential plant, equipment and machinery as part of the company preventative maintenance schedule
- Carry out major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery as directed.

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering)
- Exposure to PLC's
- Must have logical approach to fault finding (I/O signal fault finding skills)
- Previous experience in a bespoke manufacturing environment
- Able to read hydraulic drawings
- Basic knowledge of oil monitoring systems
- Comfortable in a re-active and PPM environment
