Supply Chain Specialist

Job responsibilities
- The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and analysis of business plans for the company’s sales and purchases, in order for demand to be met effectively. They are also responsible for monitoring the health of our inventoryand ensure the necessary action is taken.
- Proactive collaboration with all departments as necessary to provide draft plan and obtain pipeline information for final submission
- To consolidate pipeline and forecast information in the form of Business Plan and Monthly Rolling Forecast sending to Head Office and suppliers as required
- Manage and maintain safety stocks to ensure service levels to our customers are met
- Prepare complete inventory analysis reports to be presented internally and externally, making recommendations to optimize stock levels
- Maintain and distribute offers lists to sell old inventory at a reduced price
- Production of monthly KPI's and reports
- Maintain reports for internal and external use ensuring effective communication skills at all levels
Your qualifications
- Good understanding of Forecasting, Planning and Inventory Management
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Good written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
- Knowledge of SQL Query
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Attention to detail
