**MODERN APPRENTICESHIP**:Asset Management Assistant**
Fixed Term: 2 Years
Full Time, 35 hours per week
**Salary**: £22,932 per annum
City of Glasgow College has an exciting opportunity for a Modern Apprentice within their Procurement and Asset Management Team to provide administration support in the daily running of the Asset Management Service, whilst gaining an SVQ in Business and Administration SCQF Level 5.
The Asset Management Assistant will catalogue the College’s Art Collection and manage the Asset Register, covering IT devices, equipment, furniture, and art. This includes ensuring record accuracy and compliance with data standards.
Key responsibilities include improving asset management processes, assisting with audits, labelling assets, and performing spot checks. The role also involves providing guidance, promoting the Asset Management Policy and Procedures, and identifying improvement opportunities.
This position offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth while contributing to the College’s commitment to excellence and core values.
- Two Highers, including Maths.
- General understanding of asset management principles.
