A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an energetic **Lobby Host/ess** to join our **Concierge team** at The Berkeley.

With an independent spirit and an eye for style, The Berkeley is the epitome of modern British luxury. Rooms are furnished by leading designers, and London’s original fashionista afternoon tea ‘Prêt-à-Portea’ is served daily in the Collins Room. The Berkeley is perfectly positioned between Hyde Park, fashionable Knightsbridge and the residential neighbourhood of Belgravia. Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Michelin-starred dining in ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing and our Bamford Health Club & Spa.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:
As a **Lobby Host/ess** you will provide a courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the levels of service to the highest standards at all times. You will be responsible for welcoming and escorting guests in a warm friendly manner and be a true ambassador for excellent service.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Escort guests to their desired location.
- Discretely inform the appropriate departments and management of VIP arrivals.
- Deal with any queries promptly, efficiently and pleasantly.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services and supply information and respond to guest queries.
- Establish, promote and maintain good public relations and enhance sales for the hotel at every opportunity.
