Philps bakery is a small business in Hayle. Our goal is to Bring a taste of Cornwall to all through our authentic Cornish Pasties. We are run by the same Cornish family since 1958. Our staff are an extension of our family and take pride in making and selling our traditional Cornish comfort food to the masses..

Working as part of our well established pasty production team at our flagship bakery in Hayle to produce Cornish Pasties and a variety of baked goods.

Crimping Cornish Pasties (no experience needed), laying up the pasties, traying up the pasties, cleaning and any other resonable duties to help with pasty production.

This role will involve lifting of full trays of pasties and other manual tasks.
- Temporary position with a view to be made permanent
- Probationary pay £10.50 Raising to £11 per hour after successful probationary period
- paid fortnightly
- uniform and full training provided (previous experience not required)
- 30 minute paid breaks
- 50% discount on Philp’s and ICED on the Quay products
- shift example 7am-2pm, but this can be flexible.
- you will be trained to level 2 in food safety and sit an allergen awareness course.

Pay: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
