My client, a family run contractor is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. Operating in a range of sectors across commercial and residential offering design and build and refurbishment services.

**Requirements**:

- Experience within a similar role in a building/construction environment
- Relevant degree or similar
- UK construction experience
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Strong commercial acumen
- Able to remeasure accounts on all trades
- Able to produce a bill of quantities from drawings (regardless of the method of measurement)
- Excellent negotiation skills with the supply chain and / or external clients to ensure the business maximises profit throughout
- Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
