Specifically, our
**Bardon Hill depot**
***based train drivers have the chance to drive class 66 diesel locomotives across large parts of the country, from London (Acton) to Sheffield (Tinsley) and anywhere in-between. Our freight services in the area include mainly aggregates and stone traffic, with some network rail SCO possession work as well.

No week will be the same and you will be able to work a variety of shifts over an average 34.5-hour, 4 day week (annualised hours contract). Freight never sleeps and night shifts are a part of the working week. On the plus side, the roads are quite empty at 2am Someone say 'bye' to rush hour traffic?

Qualifications:
For your efforts you will also get a very competitive basic salary of £61,739 per annum (recent 4% pay rise) with plenty of opportunity for overtime and rest day working and a discretionary profit-shared bonus scheme.
