We are looking for a Pharmacist in the Grimsby area, a lovely GP surgery is looking for a new salaried member of staff.The position will initially be a 6 month contract, to be extended to a permanent contract afterwards should everything work well betweensurgery and staff member.You'll be answering patient queries and authorising on repeat prescriptions, working on medication reviews and optimisation. You'll not need to have any minor illness knowledge/qualification or have your prescribing to be considered,however a prescribing qualification would benefit an application. You will ideally have General Practice experience to be successful.The hours will be 15-16.5 hours a week, preferably across 3 days, meaning you'd be working 5/5.5 hour days - perfect for thosethat need to work around family commitments or other work. You'll receive a salary of between £38,000-£44,000 (FTE) depending on your qualifications and experience. Alongside this, you'll have NHS pension contributions, 6 weeks of annual leave + bank holidaysoff (pro rata) and indemnity provided.The surgery has around 11,000 patients on their list, and have a Good CQC report in place currently and you'll be working with a range of clinical staff types (ANPs, Physician Associates, Pharmacists etc) creating a diverseteamFor some more information - please call Inci on at the Chase Medical Head Office.Chase Medical is the leading Primary Care Agency operating in the UK, we work with 40% of General Practices, Urgent Care Centres and Walk in Centres across the UK, so we'rebound to have local work for you to consider.
