**Who are we?**:
Integrated Operational Solutions (I0S) Alliance - Part of the Anglian Water network, the IOS was set up in 2015 to concentrate on water recycling solutions and the clean water base. The maintenance and refurbishment of the key infrastructure is managed by our partners Barhale, Kier and Morrisons they ensure everything is maintained and improvements made where necessary to ensure the infrastructures longevity and effectiveness.
**What will you be doing as our new Design Engineer?**:
As a Designer, you'll be working within the Anglian Water team, supporting them in providing support to our engineering teams and liaising between the design and delivery teams to ensure that designs are carried out in line with Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations, water industry standards and with consideration to cost efficient solutions.
You will need to be able to understand operations in any part of the water and water recycling sectors asset base and be able to collaborate to clearly communicate a workable outcome for others to construct.
**Your day to day will include**:
- Research and discover problems, develop insight and then provide focused definition
- Take account of any pre-construction information, eliminate foreseeable health & safety risks to anyone affected by the project and take steps to reduce or control any risks that cannot be eliminated
**A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours**:
- A Degree in relevant technical field and membership of relevant professional body
- Experience as a Designer in the construction/ water industry including civil, electrical and mechanical engineering works
- A full driving licence
