Are you ready to take on a fast-paced, dynamic role where no two days are the same? At Poundstretcher, we are seeking a proactive and resilient **People Advisor** to join our busy HR team.

As a People Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly, juggling a variety of tasks in our bustling environment. You’ll be managing our HR inbox, handling day-to-day queries, and providing essential support to managers across all areas of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and absence management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the HR inbox, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
- Advise managers on employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
- Support recruitment processes, from writing job adverts to conducting interviews.
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and lead on key HR projects and initiatives.
- Provide guidance on performance management and staff development.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a similar HR or People Advisor role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
