Accuracy Checking Technician

As a ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) for Rowlands Pharmacy in Prestatyn you will be required to report to the Pharmacist Manager where the overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process.

You must also be registered with the GPhC and be able to provide a membership number upon request and also have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or Accredited equivalent qualification.

**Description**

**The successfulAccuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician will**:

- Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager, the overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process
- Establishing and developing long term relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service
- You will be required to assist in the delivery of all commercial pharmacy services where appropriate, including blood pressure measuring and weight management
- To complete administrative records, and ensure that these records are adequately maintained
- Effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing
- You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary
- To assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required

**Profile**
- Must be registered with the GPhC and be able to provide a membership number upon request
- Must also have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or Accredited equivalent qualification
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
