**What is the role?**

We are looking for committed and experienced Complex Care Workers who want to be a part of a leading support service to our service user.

We are currently looking for dedicated and experienced Complex Care Workers to provide essential support to a young adult with complex needs. This is a 2:1 support role, assisting him both in his home and out in the community. He is an active and social young man who enjoys going for walks, going out for lunch, shopping and theatre He also enjoys keeping fit in the gym and swimming.

Experience in dealing with Autism or other complex needs would be preferred - personal or professional, however not essential as we provide our staff with ongoing mentoring, training, and development opportunities to provide you with an exciting and rewarding career path.

**As a Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will include**:

- **Helping our young adult with a range of daily activities such as getting washed, dressed, preparing meals, going out on activities, prompting and assistance with taking medication.**:

- **Driving in the community whilst encouraging social interaction and community-based activities.**:

- **Understanding the individual support needs of our young adult and promoting independent living, dignity and respect, love, compassion and kindness.**:

- **Willing to provide clearly communicated guidance and support to our young adult, encourage and empower them as well as provide written reports to achieve improved outcomes.**:

- **Working in partnership with the families you will meet to build quality relationships**:

**Shift Pattern**: hours are, 12-hour day shifts and 12 hour waking nights. You will be required to work as part of a team, following structured care plans and routines. Committing to regular shifts on rolling rota basis.

**Joining Time**: Immediate

**Salary**: £12-13 per hour

Day range:

- Alternative weekend
- Monday to Friday

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
